These photographs of Carlsbad Caverns National Park highlight my journey down the self-guided Natural Entrance tour. Most of the cave photographs were taken with "natural" light. Of course there is no light deep with Carlsbad Caverns -- the lighting is all artificial. The effects are quite beautiful, and so other than a small use of flash to freeze people, I just used long exposures. The photographs give you a reasonable feel for the actual atmosphere within Carlsbad Caverns.
